THE DEAF LEARNING MAZE
Why aren’t schools doing a better job of turning out well-educated, highly literate deaf alumni? Marc Marschark Director of NTID’s new Center for Education Research Partnerships, believes that it’s “because we have been looking in the wrong places for some of the answers.” NTID has received a $1.1-million grant for deaf-education research and international partnerships.
